The Reformer is the most familiar of the Pilates equipment. The Reformer uses spring resistance and involves exercises executed while lying, sitting, or standing. The exercises are performed on a moving base, adding an additional challenge. Focus is on core strength, balance control, muscular balance, breath and building long, lean muscle.
