Mollie Slaton first discovered Pilates in Seattle, WA while attending Cornish College of the Arts. After graduating with a BFA in dance, she moved to New York to pursue a professional dance career. She received her Pilates certification through the Kane School of Core Integration and has taught in multiple studios and gyms around NYC. Through her study of Pilates and dance, Mollie’s desire to learn even more about the biomechanics of the human body increased. She spent 2 years studying anatomy and kinesiology with Irene Dowd, a neuromuscular therapist, and continues to expand her knowledge through her own study. Mollie is certified to teach the Tupler Technique through Maternal Fitness which is a prenatal/postpartum fitness program. She loves working with pre and post-natal women, helping them to have healthy pregnancies and fast recoveries.  She enjoys working to correct muscle imbalances and improve posture while helping her clients not only move freely in their session but also incorporate this freedom of movement and alignment into their daily life. As the owner of Hudson Pilates, Mollie is thrilled to bring Pilates to the Washington Heights/Hudson Heights neighborhood and to help bring health and happiness to this fabulous community!
